WE ALL CARE (WAC) Days are a service which offers access to free food, clothing, books, school supplies, nappies and baby needs, kitchen items, shoes, blankets, toys and other items donated by We All Care supporters.
WAC Days started under the guidance of Prosper Project – Australia's 'One Stop Shop' and the 'Building Stronger Communities' in the Canterbury – Bankstown local area. The collaboration runs weekly at the Rotary Community Centre at Campsie.
WAC now runs their own 'Days' at Poets Corner (Redfern), Surry Hills Community Centre, Villawood Community Centre and Warrick Farm Centre. Typically we run four 'Days' at each venue per year.
WAC Days now help thousands of families across Sydney.
WAC sources and supplies new gifts for Mother's Day, Father's Day, International Women's Day, Pamper Days, Breast Cancer Awareness week and Christmas. For Christmas alone we typically wrap and deliver about 10000 gifts for agencies, support groups and community groups to pass on to their clients
WAC offers mentoring for teenagers within the organisation. All volunteer hours count toward the Duke of Edinburgh Award.
